TEACHING SPEAKING

TEACHING SPEAKING

Not only children sometimes experience fear of the challenge of speaking formally in front of large or small groups, many of us who are already in adulthood also experience that same type of fear, and as a teachers we must start by explaining how common these are between the people and how they handle them; It is there when I can help them to reduce these unfounded fears, by using the techniques learned during the teaching speaking session and also in the teaching speaking microteching session, so I believe that I will get many of my students to learn the ability to speak and teach them so they Will be able to communicate in the English language, also with these techniques I can help to reduce these fears by maintaining a cordial atmosphere in the classroom, as well as providing opportunities for students to practice alone or with a partner and then to larger groups.

  1. A non-threatening atmosphere in the classroom is always good. There is enough stress in speaking without creating more by making Ss feel they are being judged. The T and the other Ss must make everyone feel they are with friends who want everyone to do well.
